The probe's last image made it clear this was a busy, cluttered solar system.
Planets were still forming and tearing apart and changing orbits. Even the binary stars that spawned the system were tugging and wrestling for position. One might be ejected in a few million years.
It was a maelstrom of mass and gravity; chaos seeking a balance.
Alas, our little probe was just another grain of dust that would eventually find its way into a new planet's molten heart.
