Space Art 57: Globular Cluster

The AI from the European Space Agency has a perfectly soothing female voice. "Her" slight British accent is...refined.

"Globular clusters are typically much larger than open clusters and are tightly gravitationally bound."

Drifting along in zero-G and listening to her purr, it is easy to forget about the gang of medium-sized black holes prowling the cluster's innards.

"...with populations ranging from tens of thousands to millions of stars. Their considerable gravitational attraction makes them very stable, and therefore they can be extremely long-lived, surviving to be billions of years old."

With a cup of coffee and my AI's relaxing words, everything is A-ok. We'll just orbit here a while and watch a million suns rise. It's gonna be a good day.
