Jellyfish Galaxies

Galaxies come in many shapes and forms. Galaxies are made of both stars and gas, and the shapes of these two parts can be very different from each other.




Pip and I are helping scientists find galaxies with gas "tails" that start at the main body and stretch in one direction. These galaxies almost look like jellyfish in the sea!
