I helped some Rocket Team astronauts add a new module to the space station we named "Ganymede Gateway." It orbits Jupiter's moon Ganymede.
When we examine the moon's surface, we are seeing an ice shell that is about 500 miles (800 kilometers) thick. Ganymede also has mysterious bright ridges and grooves that slice across older, darker ice.
Pip and I would love to explore the surface. Maybe there is an ocean somewhere under all that ice. I wonder if there are living creatures somewhere down there.
What would you do on this icy moon? Let me know at
