"We Never Quit"

 

I sent Mick a t-shirt as a "Thank You" for writing about us.

This is a fun memory. To celebrate the publication of Mick's fourth book about our adventures, the Rocket Team's "Mars Mission Division" sent t-shirts to all of us Hab 5 students.

His book is called "Ramone’s Exploration Journal: a day on Mars." He followed us around and used parts of my daily journal to show everyone what it's like to live on Mars. Here is what he said...

We all voted, and we picked Hab 5’s mascot to be a badger. On Earth, badgers are smart, tough little animals that like to dig underground.

Mars settlers are a lot like badgers. We have to be smart and tough, and we have to dig to uncover the mysteries of Mars.

The Rocket Team motto reminds us to “Keep Trying.” So we picked the Hab 5 motto to be “We Never Quit.”
