A few years ago, I was a camp counselor at Moonbase 3. Pip and I had an opportunity to teach basic lunar geology to a group of nine students from Somalia.
I learned that their word for "moon" is "dayax." So we all voted to name our group "Dayax Dreamers."
The Dreamers spent a week collecting rocks and enjoying Moonbase 3's exotic food (like squeeze cheese on English peas - my favorite).
Each day, we would spend about six hours in our moon suits, kangaroo-hopping in the low gravity.
If you could visit the moon, what would you like to do? Tell me at
