Pioneering with ISRU

When you are an astronaut exploring deep space (like the moon or Mars), you really can't bring everything you need. You have to find local resources to make air, fuel, and water so you can "live off the land" like pioneers.

The fancy name for using local resources is in-situ-resource utilization (ISRU). This is WAY important because cargo resupply efforts take a long time and are expensive.
